Ray Allen was born on July 20, 1975, in Merced California. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall, and is 205 pounds. His real name is Walter Ray Allen. He is most known as Ray Allen. He was first interested in playing basketball at the early age of ten. He played for Hillcrest in high school. He did well all three years with Hillcrest, he really did good his senior year earning a 27-4 record and the State Championship. His junior year he was averaging 25.5 points and 11.5 rebounds a game.
